“In Writing a State Report, students will identify their state on a map, provide historical information, and identify physical and political features. They will draw the state flag, seal, bird, flower, and license plate. They can include a song or poem about the state, and information about weather, resources, national parks, historical sites, or other sites of interest. They will include information about government, education, and the people who live in the state. They can create a visitor’s guide and give their opinions about what they have learned. They will conclude their reports with a bibliography of their sources.” Students will write a letter to the state of their choosing to receive information from the source, they will also use the library and internet for their project. They will be graded on a rubric and their completed workbook, there will be some work that needs to be done at home.
Courses: Classes are held on Thursdays, from 10 am-4pm at Beulah Missionary Church in Goshen. Fall Semester begins September 10th, 2026. Back to School Night is August 21, 2026 at 6pm.
