Intermediate/Advanced Art 6th-12th 3pm

If you’ve taken intermediate art before then this is just a step above, and if you’ve never taken it, you’ll learn a lot!

This is an intermediate/advanced level art class introducing the basic elements of art through
weekly step-by-step instruction with freedom for students to explore their own creativity.

The first half of the semester will focus on acrylic painting as students are introduced to
color theory, composition & design, brushwork, and painting techniques through direct
application. The second half of the semester will explore the additional mediums of
watercolor, drawing pencils, and airdry clay and end with a special Christmas project
using acrylics again. This class will be a step-up from the intermediate art class, delving deeper into the projects and techniques.
