Taught by Matthew and Kathryn Miller, this course is meant to equip students with basics and staples that are needed in their minor and adult life. Some of the skills students will learn include domestic skills (sewing, meal planning, landscaping); safety (fire and basic first aid, situational awareness and high stress management); money management; home repairs: automotive skills (fix a flat, check/change oil, insurance). This course will be 2 hours in length and spread out between both fall and spring semesters. $125/semester and all supplies are provided. This is not a religious curriculum.
Courses: Classes are held on Thursdays, from 1-4pm at Beulah Missionary Church in Goshen. Spring Semester begins February 6th and ends April 24th with a final program on May 1st at 6pm. Orientation night is January 30th at 6pm. *Second karate class at 4:10 pm-can be taken alone
