Learn with passion to live with purpose.
Raising Up Leaders Cooperative was started by homeschool mom of 6, Jessica Shaffer in 2024. After not finding exactly what she was looking for and an opportunity opening up at her home church of Beulah Missionary, she felt that God placed on her heart the need to step forward to help answer the call for more co-ops in the homeschool community. With the full support of the board, her family, and her friends, Raising Up Leaders was launched in Fall 2024.
RULC seeks to provide homeschool families in the Michiana area with programs that help to round out their child/ren’s education in a safe, and God-honoring environment. Held at Beulah Missionary Church, we are a Christ-centered organization. Our staff and volunteers, both of the co-op and the church, want to pour into your children and make each child feel welcome, special, and wanted. We love to get to know each one and to be a part of them becoming hard-working, knowledgeable, and productive participants in society.
These verses are what we try to build our foundation on to create our leaders for the next generation:
1 Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
Proverbs 22:6: “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
We are passionate in instilling the qualities that God calls us to embrace as laid out in Colossians 3: 12 “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.”
Encouraging honesty and integrity as in Ephesians 4: 25 “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body”.
What Make Us Special?
We are a drop off co-op that strives to provide edifying and valuable classes that help to support your homeschooling journey. Each teacher, staff member, and volunteer wants to pour into your student(s) and upholds the values that we have put forth in our mission: To seek to Raise Up Leaders to send out into our community to make a difference, sharing Jesus’s love, and being His hands and feet.
