This is an intermediate/advanced class focused on developing various styles of hand
lettering (aka modern calligraphy) to enhance one’s art. Alongside the lettering, students
will also be exploring texture art using modeling paste. Students will then combine
these new skills to create unique pieces of art. Students will be encouraged to consider
how to use these art skills to minister to and encourage others. Projects, such as hand-
lettered greeting cards and textured wall art that display Scripture and Biblical truths, will
be created for the purpose of sharing with others using their art to point others to Christ.
